Scandinavian winters are cold. This means more hours indoor and more cups of warm tea!
The atmosphere of winters in the North has its own dusty beauty. The sky paints marbled drawings in greys and whites. When it snows, the landscape is all covered in a soft, white duvet. In these colder months of the year, the light gets darker and the colors of nature gets dusty and almost colorless. The trees though, still remain with their brown, golden tribes which adds a little warmth to this clean and light mood.
During winter time we keep up the good mood with lots of moments of cosiness, especially those enjoyed with friends and family around flickering candle lights and a large, hot pot of tea.
